
Ok back on track. Im going to let you copy my system design although you dont
have to copy it as
such. But it would be worth it since we are only doing this as an example. Though
this tutorial can be
used in conjunction with a modding project. Ie someone who is making a mod and
learning as they are
going along. Which was the exact position when I was starting Epsilon 2.3. I
had next to no modding
experience and I have no formal qualifications in programming. Everything I
have learned is though a
mixture of trial and error, and getting to know modders such as Chips, Baked
Potato, Louva-Deus, Glock,
Parabolix, Harrier etc.
Here are my system designs.


Now that should give you some idea. Doesnt have to be exact. Its only a tutorial.
Though im leaving it up to you to make sure it
all works nicely. Im also leaving it up to you to make the equipment, commodities
etc. This is because it is a test to see if you
learnt anything from my last tutorial. It also saves me writing things Ive already
covered !
Ok next were gonna just bug test it. Yes lets run datastorm on it, after weve made sure it works of course!
Now I personaly have not made any population zones, fields, or tradelanes.
I havnt even given my bases any equipment.
Again this saves time in the long run. I could spend a hour making the BEST
loadout for my ship, but then it only crashes on me.
What does that mean? yes, one hour of my life time wasted.
Ok now its time to give you the plans for the last systems.


Ok the last system is gonna be a nasty son of b*tch lol. Weve gotta make a
nasty one, esp since the
ones next door have Battleships (BS's).


Ok now thats done. Just add a jumphole to these locations.



Ok well thats basic stuff done. Ill leave you do the testing, and once everything is working kool. Just add the equipment.
